This site has been designed to be as accessible as possible for most visitors. I hope you find this to be the case, whatever the technology you are using to access this website's information.

We are committed to making our online information accessible to all visitors and are striving to adhere to accessibility guidelines. Our efforts include:
- Maintaining a standard layout and navigation structure throughout
- Using headings, paragraphs, lists etc to create a logical document structure
- Allowing visitors to resize all text using their browser settings
- Using plain backgrounds to improve the readability of all text
- Using foreground and background colour combinations which have sufficient contrast and are not known to cause problems to those with visual impairments
- Using alt attributes and/or titles on all images where appropriate, and ensuring that all alt and title attributes are meaningful
- Designing layouts to work satisfactorily over a range of screen resolutions
- Ensuring all hyperlinks use descriptive and meaningful text
- Always providing an alternative to scripts or other controls which rely on client device capability
- Using plain English
- Using a written style that is straightforward and understandable
Other text resizing methods
To enlarge the size of the text on your screen, use the View menu in your browser and choose Text Size then adjust to Larger or Largest (in Internet Explorer) or Increase (in Firefox). You can also hold down Ctrl on the keyboard whilst scrolling with the wheel of your mouse to enlarge text in most browsers.
Browser accessibility options
In addition to the accessibility features of this website, your Internet Browser (eg Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator) provides ways for you to make this website easier to read. You can change the text size, colour or font, change the background colour, or remove the images, leaving pages as text-only.
