Our Programme of Study for PSHE education identifies the key concepts, skills and attributes that are developed through PSHE education. PSHE helps to safeguard pupils, support their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
The programme of study includes four core themes:
  • Health and Wellbeing: Exploring Healthy lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, staying safe, First aid
  • Relationships: Exploring puberty and changing relationships that may affect young adults. Including racism, and prejudice
  • British Values: Exploring the 4 key values, Democracy, Rule of Law, Individual liberties and Tolerance and Respect
  • Living in the Wider World: Exploring Business, finance, and work experience. Ensuring our pupils are ready for life experiences
