Science Club
Science club runs Wednesday, weekly from 3.45pm-4.45pm.
The aim of the club is to get pupils thinking about Science. The experiments planned for these sessions are designed to engage and challenge pupils, whilst still being fun and interesting. They further help to develop scientific skills which are central to the National Curriculum at both KS3 and KS4. So far we have made stink bombs, slime and volcanoes.
The members of staff involved with helping run the club are enthusiastic and inspiring Science teachers; without them this would not be as big a success as it has proved to be this year.
The cohort of pupils that attend regularly are enthusiastic and keen to learn. We hope to build their interest in Science by entering into National competitions in a bid to showcase their talents; and regularly reward commitment to the club with certificates, rewards and trips.
A big “Thank You” to the pupils who make running this club a pleasant experience, and to Ms Kay and Ms Neckles for their continued help and support. Much appreciated!
