" The Duke of Edinburgh Award means that I can try new things, learn new things and have fun. Also I meet new people and we work together. I have learnt some skills which can help me in the future such as First Aid and using a map and compass. The award is known world wide so I will be able to put it on my CV for college. I have passed my Bronze Award and now I'm moving onto my Silver."

" I like the Duke of Edinburgh Award because it is very fun to do something that relaxes you and takes your mind off school academic work. But you do need to organise yourself to balance out your school work and your Duke of Edinburgh activities. I would advise a person to do the Duke of Edinburgh Award becuase it trains a person to be able to control his organisation which is one of the things needed to survive life. "

"My expedition wasn't very difficult but at some stages it was quite challenging. I had a lot of fun and I gained a lot of skills. I learnt how to read a map and use a compass and my team work and fitness levels have improved. I worked well with my team but sometimes we had some disagreements, these skills will help me later in my life. Overall I found the expedition challenging and very fun."
