After leaving school:

Retired after career as Royal Navy Officer, (Meteorologist and synoptic oceanographer), Engineering Institution Secretary and second university attendance obtaining PhD

Year Attended: 1979-1983

After leaving school:

I am a Physics teacher working in a small school in Cumbria. I have had many jobs since leaving school, including working as a musician (latin percussion) and my very first gig ever was with friends from this school. I also spent 10 years living in South America, the multiculturalism and ethos of the school shaped my life forever in so many positive ways

After leaving school:

I went to Richmond College, Newcastle University to study chemistry and then Imperial College where I did a PhD in Biomedical Chemistry. I am currently as a Research Strategy Manager for the National Institute for Healthcare Research CLAHRC (Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care) for Northwest London

After leaving school:

I'm currently a journalist writing financial opinion columns for Reuters. My columns also appear in the New York Times and other newspapers around the world. After leaving Acton. I went to William Morris Academy and then to read English at Oxford University




Name: Caroline O'Connor

Year Attended: 1994-1999

After leaving school:

I'm at the cox of the Great Britain Rowing Team, and have been for the past 6 years. I competed at the Beijing Olympics and recently won a gold medal at the rowing world cup in Slovenia. I am still competing and aim to continue through to London 2012. I also work part time as a science teacher in a new academy school in Oxford

Name: Anna Wilson

Year Attended: 1997-2001

After leaving school:

I did my BA in Classics at Cambridge, then moved across the Atlantic to do a Master's degree in Medieval Studies in Toronto. I'm now doing a PhD in Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto, Canada, where I work on my thesis and teach undergraduates English literature, Latin and Medieval cultural history. I hope to graduate in 2013, move back to England and work as a university lecturer

I graduated with honours from Loughborough University last year. My major was in commercial management. I'm currently working in the commercial department for Costain on the Farringdon station project

Finished my 2nd year studying Pharmaceutical Science. Working on LETG (London East Thames Gateway) Aim higher projects as a student ambassador
