Supportive Education

"The quality of care, guidance and support is outstanding. Members of staff work very hard to ensure the safety and care of students." OFSTED 2006

At Acton High School we believe that every pupil has an entitlement to personal, social and intellectual achievement.

We believe that all our pupils may have special needs at some time in their school career, whatever their background or ability. The support they need may be academic, social or emotional. Children with special educational needs have access to high quality education and a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum. We recognise that advice, support and resources are required to achieve this for some pupils in the mainstream curriculum. We have put in place a number of systems to promote this inclusive view of education.
