Acton Carnival
This Saturday 10th July 2010 saw the return of the infamous Acton Carnival. This year’s theme was ‘we are family’ and many different community groups took part in the music and dancing in the procession.
Acton High School students have been working with Oke Osisi- Afrika, a local community dance and education group and during the procession they were able to display all they had learnt over the last 6 months.
Strelly, Remmel and Nathan from Year 7 also took over the main stage and showcased their street dancing skills. Great weather, for a great day!
