Street Art Project
One of the things we encourage at Acton High School is cross-curricular links between departments to show our students the breadth of possibilities available to them if they think laterally.
This summer 2010 we are running a short project during the last few weeks of term, which links into Physical Education, Art & Community Outreach. The aims of the project are:
- Improve the visual impact of the storage container on the school playing field, currently used by the PE Department as an equipment store
- Build links with professional organisations within the community
- Provide the students with the opportunity to work on a large scale art project, using design skill and materials that they may not usually have access to
