Media Awards
On Monday 19th July 2010 Acton High School held their first Media Awards Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of students from all year groups in a number of different areas.
The night was styled on the Oscars, with nominated students arriving to photographs posing on the red carpet. The awards varied and ranged from Music, Sound and Drama awards to Dance, Sport and English. There were videos of the students' work and live performances from the Year 7 and 8 vocal group throughout the evening.
The night paid testament to the enormous amount of talent and creativity across Acton High School and hopefully set the bar for next year's event when the students can show off more of their ideas and accomplishments.
