Acton High School Sixth Form
The most important reason to choose to enter a particular Sixth Form is that it offers the courses you want and delivers them well.
At Acton High School Sixth Form we have designed our varied and innovative curriculum to meet the needs of the wide range of students that we will cater for. This means that you can choose to follow a very traditional academic A Level programme, or you can take a more vocational path, choosing courses that build practical skills at the same time as developing your academic abilities. What is crucial is to make sure that the courses you choose are right for your interests, skills and ambitions, and our admissions process will support you in doing this. (Click here for our Subject Information).
Students at Acton High School Sixth Form have access to excellent facilities in a brand new building opened in 2012: whatever courses you choose, you can be assured that you will be learning in modern, comfortable spaces, using up-to-date technologies and a wide range of specialist equipment. Acton High School has a proud tradition of providing excellent pastoral care and guidance, as recognised by Ofsted during our most recent inspection. You will have a personal tutor and a Head of Sixth Form, who will use our shared knowledge and experience, and our strong ties with universities and employers, to help you achieve your goals and move on to the destinations you are aiming for. (Click here to read our 2013 Ofsted Report).
Applications are invited from external applicants who wish to join Acton High as a Year 12 student in September 2017, as well as those who are existing students at Acton High School.
